The competition for IC 022 EVO has its winner

Short interview with the winner...

Mario, how long have you been engaged in car detailing?

We have been engaged in this interesting work since 2011, so we have been on the Slovak market for over 11 years. Over time, our skills and knowledge have grown steadily, accompanied by an increase in clientele. Therefore, in 2012, we took a necessary step - the establishment of the company Detail Works.

This moment was a turning point for us. The dedication fully reflected the quality of the detailing performed and the satisfied smiles of our clients. Training by reputable companies followed to keep pace with the rapid development of products and processes in this area.

Thanks to this, we are proud today that our company is certified for several specialized processes that we offer.

How are you different from the competition?

During this period, countless cars of various, and also luxury, brands used our services. The skills and experience with different types of cars are therefore really rich. Our biggest breakthrough occurred in 2017, when we built a completely new establishment in Trnava and then also in Modranka, which meets the high standards required for this work.

We try to meet as many of our customers' wishes as possible at one place. Ranging from interior cleaning, leather renovation, paint care (ceramic protection, polishing and sanding paint) to protective foils.

Our goal is to push the boundaries of excellence in detailing, and to provide services at the highest level.

Where did you learn about dry ice cleaning technology?

I first saw dry ice cleaning on Instagram. I found it interesting immediately. I watched it for a while and I was fascinated by the work. It didn't take long and I agreed with ICS to demonstrate this technology directly at our workshop. At that time, we had Porsche Carrera Turbo - the "first turbo" from 1979 - and beautiful Ferarri Testarossa.

We cleaned the engine and chassis area, and also the door area and hinges in the trunk.

I was surprised by the efficiency of this technology and at the same time the care for the cleaned surface. Unlike conventional sandblasting, the surface and surroundings do not remain contaminated with abrasive. The result was really amazing.

To conclude…

On behalf of the entire Detail Works team, we would like to thank you for the opportunity of one-day cooperation, as it led us to the idea of working with this special machine and thus offering another exclusive service to our customers. As they say "You never know till you try".

Our goal for the future is still to work in the automotive area, but I'll let you in on a little secret… We would like take also other direction by renovating older, rarer cars.

And what is better to work with than the dry ice cleaning technology? :) For those old engines, hoses, rusty screws and other parts, dry ice cleaning is the only choice!

So keep your fingers crossed for us!
